Missions

Gospel-Centered, Mission-Focused

We are a Gospel-Centered and Mission-Focused church! That means that we are anchored to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and committed to getting that Gospel into the world around us. Our goal is to get every member of Metro East onto the mission field in some way in 2012 - locally, nationally, or internationally.

Local

Practically in 2012 that means that we are going to expand our reach into metro Wichita and surrounding areas. We'll open doors to missions around the area. This page will be a focal point of activity for learning about, committing to, and serving in missions locally.

National

We're going to be unveiling national mission opportunities in 2012. You'll find out more about those opportunities and be able to learn how you can become part of a national mission opportunity right here.

International

We will be opening the door for a new partnership in international missions in 2012. This trip will be focused on developing a relationship with a local missionary team, assisting them in their efforts, and continuing the relationship over time and multiple trips. On this page you'll learn about this opportunity, be able to find out the trip requirements, complete the necessary forms to be considered for participation, and learn more abou the people we are going to visit.

The Heartbeat of God

The heartbeat of God is to reach those who are far from Him with the Gospel and we intend to do that. We want our Gospel Communities to be involved in local missions in their area of influence and will provide opportunities for that involvement. More than anything else, we're committed to encouraging and opening the door for daily interaction with people who are far from God.
