Attend Metro 101
This one-session class is led by Pastor Greg and covers such topics as essential Christian doctrine, the priorities of Metro East, how we organize for ministry, and what it means to be a Southern Baptist Church. There is plenty of time for you to ask questions. Childcare is available by reservation for children Birth through 5th grade. Please call Teresa Fry (316-733-5088), or e-mail the church office with questions about registration, for information regarding the class, or to make an appointment with one of the pastoral staff members.
How do we receive new members at Metro East?

By Profession of Faith in Christ and Baptism If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, and will be baptized as a symbol of your faith, we welcome you as a member.

By Transfer of Church Letter If you are coming from a Baptist church, are a follower of Christ, and have been baptized, we welcome you as a member.

By Statement of Faith in Jesus Christ If you are coming from another Christian denomination, share our doctrinal beliefs, are a follower of Christ, and have been baptized, we welcome you as a member. We will take care of the details of contacting your church and transferring your membership.

By Believer’s Baptism If you have already professed faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are now ready to follow Him in baptism, we welcome you as a member.
